深圳市部分医务人员对同性恋态度的调查研究

Investigation of Attitudes Towards Homosesuality among Medical Staff in Shenzhen.

目的 通过调查民众对同性恋的态度,以便推测取消同性恋诊断标准的可行性。方法 采用修订过的美国全国同性恋态度调查问卷,调查500名医务人员,将调查结果与美国70年代取消同性恋诊断之前进行的全国民意测验进行对比。结果 医务人员中57.2％的被调查者认为同性恋是病态,77.2％认为同性恋值得同情和理解,62％认为今后社会应该接受同性恋,而只有19.4％的人接触过同性恋。结论 资料表明我国民众比当年美国人对同性恋态度更为宽容,取消同性恋诊断是解决同性恋问题的关键一步。

Objective To disuss the possibility of canceling the diagnostic criteria for homosexuality,and to investigate the attitudes of the medical staff towards homosexuality. Methods We investigated 500 medical workers with the revised Levitt and Klassen's questionnaire,and compared the attitudes to that of American public studied before canceling the diagnostic criteria in 1970s. Results 52. 7% of the medical stuff believed that homosexuality is a mental disorder,77. 2% showed understanding and sympathy for it,62% thought that the society should accept its existence,while only 19. 4% ever had some contact with homosexuals. Conclusion It was indicated that Chinese being investigated were more tolerable that Americans towards homosexuality. We think that it is the key step to cancel homosexual diagnosis for the homosexual problem.
