The viewpoint of scientific development is the guiding ideology we must adher e to in the reform, development and innovation of higher education in our countr y. It not only has the important theoretical value and the grand goal direction, but also contains the rich flavour of our age and significance of practice. It is an important task for higher education's carrying out and putting into effec t the viewpoint of scientific development to promote persons' overall developmen t, to carry out the sustainable developing strategy, to construct the lifelong e ducation system and to build the study-type society. Only studying deeply and ad hering to the correct developing viewpoint can we make the cause of higher deuca tion in our country go forward to the more magnificent tomorrow.
