New Focus in Palestinian-Israeli Conflicts: the Issue of Separation Wall

隔离墙问题成为和平解决巴以争端的一大障碍 ,也因此成为世人关注的焦点。以色列修建隔离墙固然有反对恐怖主义、防止和减少恐怖袭击、保护以色列民众安全的目的 ,但它在事实上圈占了巴勒斯坦的许多领土和资源 ,给巴勒斯坦民众的生活造成了极大影响 ,对巴勒斯坦建国也极为不利。修建隔离墙违背了国际法的一些基本准则 ,对中东问题的和平解决造成了障碍 。

The issue of separation wall poses an obstacle to the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflicts, thus drawing attentions of the whole world. Admittedly, Israel's building of the wall has the intentions of striking against terrorism, preventing and decreasing terrorist attacks, and protecting the Israelis; actually, it encloses and occupies much territory and resources of the Palestine, considerably affects the living of the Palestinians and does great harm to the establishment of the Palestinian state. Meanwhile, the building of the wall violates the basic principles of the international law and causes a hindrance to the peaceful resolution of the Middle East problem, and is bound to meet with opposition and condemnation both from the Palestine and from the international community.
