“因人作远游”之所“因”之“人”臆测

Supposition of the "somebody" in "Travel to Distant lands for somebody"

唐肃宗乾元二年(759)秋,杜甫携眷来到秦州,三个月后,又移居同谷。对于杜甫西赴秦州、移居同谷的缘由,学界有不同看法。有的论者认为杜甫西行是有所投靠,其"满目悲生事,因人作远游"的所"因"之"人",当指杜佐和赞公。有的论者则认为"从杜甫秦州诗中看不出他有所投靠"。从对杜甫秦州诗及其它相关作品的分析中可知:杜甫西赴秦州、移居同谷是有所投靠,而所"因"之"人"不只是杜佐和赞公,主要是投靠同谷防御判官韦十六。

In the second year of Su Emperor Qianyuan of Tang Dynasty, Du Fu arrived in Qinzhou with his family, but after three months, he moved to Tonggu. As for the reason of this, there were different explanations. Some believed that Du Fu went to the west to seek refuge from somebody,and thus 'somebody'in his 'everything in the sight is sad, travel to distant lands for somebody' should be referring to Du Zuo and Zan Gong. Some think that there is nothing in the poem to indicate that Du meant to seek refuge from 'Somebody' from Du's poem to Qingzhou and other related works, scholars analyzed that Du fu went to west did mean to seek help from somebody, and 'somebody' here might refer to not only Du Zuo and Zan Gong,but mainly Wei Shiliu, the defender of Tonggu.
