Textual Research of Zhuge Liang and Historical Remains of Qishan Hill

祁山是三国魏蜀争夺中一个战略要塞和重要城堡,诸葛亮两次北伐曾兵临祁山。围绕祁山争夺在天水一带发生过一系列战事,大多都有遗址可寻。今甘肃礼县及周围一带,与祁山相关的三国历史遗迹尚有百城堡、祁山堡、观阵堡、点将台、圈马沟、藏兵湾、铁笼山和木门道等遗迹,它们都是祁山攻防体系的组成部分。

During the historical period of Three Kingdoms, Qishan Hill was such a strategic fort and important castle that wars broke out between Kingdom Wei and Shu for the capture of this place. Zhuge Liang initiated two northern expeditions and stationed his army here. A series of wars broke out around Tianshui, and historical remains can be found. In Lixian County and its surrounding area, there are historical remains of Three Kingdoms that related to Qishan Hill, such as Baicheng Fortress, Qishan Fortress, Guanzhen Fortress, Dianjiang Stage, Quanma Valley, Cangbing Gulf, Tielong Mountain, Mumen Tunnel etc. which are the composing parts of attack and defence system of Qishan Hill.
