摘要
Located about46km north of the county seat of Xuanhan,the site was excavated by archaeolo-gists from the Institute of Archeology of Sichuan Province and other organizations.A total of32tombs,31ash pits,some pillar holes,and one sacrificial pit were opened up,bringing to light nearly a thousand pieces of objects,mainly survivals from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods.Most of the objects are made of bronze,pottery,jade,stone and bone.Two tombs coded as M5and M25yielded bronze weapons,tools and utensils,some of which bear inscription in pic-ture-like language of the Ba-Shu.Well preserved,the site is a typical one of the Ba-Shu culture and of much academic importance.
