Carbon fiber reinforced plastics is widely used in field of concrete structure reinforcement due to its outstanding characteristics such as lightness, anti-corrosion and long life time. With repairing and reinforcing example of crane beam of China Great Wall Aluminum Corporation, this paper briefly introduces that a new structure reinforcement technology, carbon fiber reinforced plastics repairing and reinforcing concrete structure, is applied to reinforcement projects of metallurgical industry.
