摘要
文章对汉语的“是”与西语的“tobe”进行了初步的分析 ,认为不能把汉语的“是”简单地比附为西语的“tobe” ,二者不论在哲学传承上还是在语言自身的发展上都大相径庭 ,更不能说汉语的“是”发展成为判断词的秘密在于“它自产生之日起就与西语tobe相当 ,集形而上学之本在、存在、存在者三个核心观念于一身。”汉语的“是”没有进入中国哲学的范畴 ,也没有什么本在、存在、存在者的意义 ,研究汉语的“是”之所以发展成为判断词必须立足于汉语语言发展的实际 。
This article preliminarily analyses Chinese “shi ” and “to be” in western language. We don’t think that we can simply copy the C hinese “shi” from western language “to be”. They have great difference whet her in philosophy inheriting or in language itself developing. Furthermore we ca n’t say that the mystery of Chinese “shi” developing into copulative verb is that “shi” was quite “to be” and collect “be, being, Being” into one when it emerges. Chinese “shi” hasn’t come into the category of Chinese philosop hy and has no meanings of “be, being, Being”. While studying the cause of Chin ese “shi” becoming copulative verb, we must base on the reality of Chinese lan guage developing ,instead of basing on assumption.
