摘要
古希腊悲剧家欧里庇得斯的著名悲剧人物美狄亚和中国清代小说家蒲松龄的《聊斋志异·窦氏》中的窦氏是中西文学中的两位典型的复仇女性。通过对她们的比较,我们能够看到以她们为代表的中西复仇女性的相同点和不同点,进而挖掘出中西方社会的文化背景、民族意识和社会意义,最后引发出对女性问题的再思索。
Medea, a famous tragic figure in Euripides' tragedy, and Miss Dou, a figure in Pusongling's masterpiece, Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio, are the two typical revenge women in Western and Eastern literature. Through a comparison between Medea and Miss Dou, we can see the similarities and diversities of the ordinary Eastern and Western revenge women, find the cultural background, national consciousness and social significance of Eastern and Western society,and at last advocate a rethinking of women problems.
