摘要
对从晚清到“五四”一段白话与文言冲突、调适、转换的过程,不能仅作抽象之评价,对于“白话”不能作概念化理解,更需具体细致地加以剖析,方能感知新文学革命的丰富内涵。仅自晚清一段白话与小说地位上升之关系看来,文白转换绝非简单的语言现象,而与文体秩序的调整、“文学”观念的萌动、作家价值取向的转变纠葛缠绕、紧密相联。“五四”时期中国文学的全面变革正孕育此中。
We can not consider the contradiction of vernacular and classical Chinese in the abstract. To understand the plentiful meanings of the may 4 Literature Revo-lution, it is necessary to analyse the concept 'vernacular' concretely. From the ascendancy of vernacular and novel in the Late Qing Dynasty, it shows that the transforming of languages is related to the changing of literary form, concept and writers'value. The may 4 Literature Revolution was red in the period.
