This paper presented the basic situation of forest park s construction in Guangdong province, summarized major achievements and analyzed e xisting problems in the construction process of forest parks. A fundamental stra tegy for forest parks construction was proposed in this paper and it also discus sed several important issues of forest parks construction and development so as to provide references for the construction and development of forest parks in Gu angdong province.
