语文教学对于培养学生文化素养和精神面貌具有其他学科无法相比的重要作用。如何在高校中开展语文教学工作,又如何在教学中培养学生的创新能力,文章从开展阅读教学和写作教学两方面论述了应如何进行上述教学工作,并提出只有通过语文教师自身知识的不断积累,不断学习,不断创新,才能在教学工作中引导、带动和培养学生的创造性思维能力。

In developing students` cultural attainments, Chinese teaching plays a more important role than any other subjects. How to carry out Chinese teaching in colleges* How to cultivate students` innovative ability during the teaching process* This paper discusses how to attain the two goals above in two aspects: developing reading and writing education. Furthermore the author points out that Chinese teachers should accumulate knowledge continuously, study further and innovate constantly, so as to guide, encourage and cultivate students` to think innovatively.
