《诗经·邶风·燕燕》从前三章可推测出多种可能性 :“送者”可能是主人公的朋友、母亲、兄长、恋人等 ,给读者以广阔的想象空间 ,丰富了“燕”的文化内涵。重章叠唱 ,又增强了诗的意蕴 ,给人以审美的愉悦。从第四章看 ,由于宗周思想、史官文化的影响 ,尤其是儒家思想的强行介入 ,使本诗呈现出非常复杂的诗旨。

We can infer various meanings from the first three chapters of 'ShiJing-BeiFeng-YanYan',the person who sees the protagonist off is perhaps her friend,mother,brother or lover,which is left for readers to imagine.Thus it enriches the cultural meanings of 'swallow'.The repeats of every section produce a poetic meaning which satisfies readers.But on the view of the fourth chapter,it confuses us for the influences of 'ZongZhou-Ideology' and 'ShiGuan-Culture',especially the intervention of Confucianism. This phenomenon-division of the beginning and the end of the same poem-requires us to review how to interpretate'ShiJing'today.
