摘要
2002年4月美元相对西方主要货币大幅度贬值后,美元与日元之间汇率却波动不大,这实际上是日本政府操纵外汇市场的结果。本文从日本国内经济基本情况、外部帐户状况以及国内金融市场多个角度分析了对日元汇率的影响,认为日元成为近期最可能大幅升值的货币。
Since April2002, when the USD depreciated sharply against major currencies in the West, fluctuations in the USD-JPY exchange rate were small. This was the result of manipulation on the foreign exchange market by the Japanese government. This paper will analyze the forces impacting the yen exchange rate from several differing angles, including Japan's economic performance, external accounts and domestic financial markets. The paper concludes there is a high degree of probability the yen will appreciate in the near future.
