摘要
逆冲推覆构造早在19世纪40年代就被发现,19世纪末才得到普遍承认,对其广泛研究始于本世纪,特别是本世纪海底扩张和板块构造学说的兴起,有关大陆地壳的构造特征被重视。该构造既见于造山带也见于地台区,目前一般认为它是引起大陆地壳缩短和增厚的重要方式之一,对其研究为扩大石油远景区及其他有关矿产的找寻开劈了新途径。
The paper has analysed the characteristics of Maoshan and Tanglun overthrast faults and considered that these two overthrust fault belong to different tectonic development styles respectively and calculated or estimated the tectonic shortening and separation of these two overthrust faults. Therefore, the two overthrust faults in the western part of southern Jiangsu and its nappes have obvious differences which is resulted from different development style of overthrust sheets. The Tanglun nappe appears early-folding and late-faulting whereas the Maoshan nappe appears early-faulting and late-folding. The development within overthrust sheet is from two ends towards centre. The separation of two overthrust faults are 8.23km for Tanglun and 4.33km for maoshan.
