Discussion On the Contact Relation between Jinping and Yuntai Formations in Lianyungang area

连去港地区中元古界的锦屏组与其上的云台组在现发表的许多地质资料一直认为它们之间是整合接触。笔者通过自己的野外观察对此曾表示怀疑,认为它们之间存在着断裂和滑动面。这一现象在这两组地层接触关系出露最好的锦屏刘纪洲山表现得最为明显。

Once it was considered that the contact relation between the middle Proterozoic Jinping formation and Yuntai formation was conformable in Lianyungang area. The author thinks that there is a slip surface of fault between both sequences. The Yuntai formation has covered the Jinping formation and others with the surface. It has been get the view according to following reasons: a. the tectonic schists and characteristic green schist formation occurred under the Yuntai formation; b. the Yuntai formation abnormally different from jinping formation on the tectonic types, the metamorphic facies and the absolute age. And on this basis the author have made a preliminary analysis about the field of regional stress ,the direction of phosphorite prospecting and geological structure in this area.
