摘要
本文以大学二、四年级本科生为实验对象 ,采用析因设计 ,集中分析连接词对文章的理解、记忆和阅读速度三方面的影响及其与语言水平之间的关系。结果表明 ,连接词对受试阅读说明文的理解和记忆均有促进作用 ,但对阅读速度影响不大 ;连接词在不同的条件下对语言水平较低的学生都显得重要 ,而对水平较高者则只有在阅读时间较紧时才显示出来。
The study attempts to deal with the effects of conjunctions as a kind of text signals on Chinese EFL readers' comprehension and memory of expository texts. Results of the tests show that conjunctions facilitate subjects' comprehension and memory of expository texts. But the effect of conjunctions on subjects' reading rates is not significant. Conjunctions tend to assist subjects of lower levels under different conditions, but influence subjects of higher levels only when they perform the task under time constraint.
