Improving English Language in the Cultural Background——On the Introduction of Culture in College English Teaching

语言与文化是相辅相成、密不可分的。本文以此为依据对大学英语教学中的英美文化导入进行探讨 ,分析了脱离文化背景所导致的学习障碍 ,并提出了英语教学中文化导入的方法。

Language and culture are both closely related and complementary to each other.This article discusses,on the basis of the theory,the introduction of the Western culture in college English teaching in China,analyzes the obstacles in English learning due to the ignorance of the relevant cultural background and puts forward some teaching methods to imˉprove English language in its culture as well.
