调控“基因开关”
摘要
把抗虫、抗病等基因转入小麦、水稻、棉花等农作物,如今在技术上已经很成熟。从理论上说,转基因作物的每个细胞都具有表达外源基因的表达需要消耗能量,同时也有可能影响农作物的其他农艺性状。现在有这样一项技术:利用“基因开关”系统对外基因的表达实现定时、定点、定量的精确调控。这就是中国科学院遗传和发育生物学研究所研究员储成才目前正在从事的工作。
