We can see the traditional painting itself is a never-ending process of reform and change. It had notbeen and cannot be formalized by a certain fixedstandard on the basis of either artistic style ormedium. There is no so-called unchangeable‘bimo’ whether it is in the field of painting styleor artistic spirit. Traditional painting is merely thecombination of painting pattern and material me-dium as required by the national aesthetics.
