论闽台两省方言和文化的共同特点——兼评台湾的乡土语言教育

On the Shared Characteristics of Dialect and Culture of Fujian and Taiwan: Also a Discussion on the Local Language Teaching of Taiwan

本文就相关的历史和语言事实分析后指出 ,今天台湾所谓的“台语” ,实际上是闽南话泉州腔和漳州腔的混合产物 ,是明清以来移居台湾的闽南人带过去的。与其他汉语方言一样 ,这种漳泉混合的闽南话也同样来源于中原古代汉语。而在语言使用上 ,文读和白读并存、方言和国语兼用 ,是闽台两地闽南语区的共同特点。这一特点是在千百年来的社会生活中形成的 ,它顺应了历史的发展、符合闽南语区人们的实际需要 ,是值得赞许的。至于今天台湾的乡土语言教育 ,虽然在乡土文化的保存方面有一定的作用 ,但如果是为了某一政治目的才拔高它、强化它 。

Based on the analysis of the historical and language facts related, this article points out that the TAI YUused in Taiwan today is a mixture of the Quanzhou accent and Zhangzhou accent which belong to the Southern Min dialect. It was brought to Taiwan by the Southern Min migrants during the dynasties of Ming and Qing, and it had been developed from the ancient Chinese of middle China, just like the other Chinese dialects. As for the language using in Fujian and Taiwan, both show the same characteristic that read sound and spoken sound exist side by side, and the Southern Min dialect and the Mandarin are used concurrently. This characteristic in language use has been formed after a history of many centuries. It conforms to the historical development and accords with the people's actual demands, and thus is praiseworthy. As for the local language teaching of Taiwan today, although it can help preserve the local culture to some extent, it is a tremendous error when this specific dialect is deliberately extolled and strengthened for certain political motives.
