摘要
林语堂以珍视和享受人生为核心的人生哲学,既不避世俗平民物欲,执著于现实,珍视现实生命,肯定人的欲望的正当性与合理性,又不忘文人的趣味和理想,与世俗拉开一段距离,追求自由,试图摆脱名利色权的束缚;追求美,将生活当做鉴赏的对象,企求一种闲逸、风雅、诙谐的生活情调,从而形成一整套独特的人生哲学。这种人生哲学拉开了他与胡适、鲁迅甚至周作人的距离,显示出自己独特的光彩。
Mr. LIN Yu-tang, whose philosophy of life focuses on prizing and enjoying life, not only faces the secular people's desire for the material, insists on the reality, prizes the earthly living, and affirms the justice and rationality of people's desire for the material, but also remembers the taste and ideal of an intellectual , keeps distance with the vulgarism, pursues the freedom, and tries to get rid of the letter of fame, benefit, lust, power and self-binding. He pursues the beauty, takes life as the watch object, and seeks for leisurely, elegant, and humourous life. By doing so, he forms a whole set of peculiar philosophy of life.
