摘要
语境对理解语篇语义具有重大作用 ,一向受语义学家、语用学家、民俗学家、人类学家、哲学家和认知学家所关注。追踪这些学者的研究 ,可以发现对语境分析的方法 ,已从语言语境———即上下文 ,经由二元化———语言语境和非语言语境 ,三元化———语言语境、物理语境和共享知识 ,走向多元化(世界知识、集体知识、特定知识、参与者、正式程度及媒体等 )
Context contributes positively and greatly to the interpretation of discourse meaning and has been a concern of semanticists, pragmaticians, ethnologists, anthropologists, philosophers, and cognitive scientists. Following the steps of their research, one can witness there has been a trend to move from a monistic approach to a pluralistic approach, although scholars differ in their classification. The paper also touches upon the relation between objective context and cognitive context, and the cognitive psychological study of context as well.
