Abstrast:The Han nationality originated from the great national amalgamation of farming clan tribes living along the yellow River and the Yangtze River. It basically came into being in Qin Dynasty and Han Dynasty. It developed and expanded during several major national amalgamtions from the time of Wei and Jin to Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the modern patritic national salvation movement, the Han nationality awakened. The modern policy of the equality of nationalities makes the Han nationality and minorities thrive and prosper shoulder to shoulder.
