南明首次乞师日本将领之姓名考

A Verification of the Name of the General Firstly Inviting Japanese people for the Southern Ming Dynasty's Army.

南明政权乞师日本的首次倡行者的姓名，为中日关系史上的一件悬案。史书对其记载五花八门，学者意见莫衷一是。根据中日文献，结合中国的命名规律、汉字书写特点以及史籍记载习惯等，考明其姓名最早为周芝、而后为崔芝、最后为周崔芝的两次变化过程。

Who was the advocate and practitioner of inviting Japanese people for t he Southern Ming Dynasty?This is an unsettled problem.There existed various reco r ds on this story,and scholars disagreed at it as well.Based on both Chinese and Japanese documents and in referense to Chinese christenning rule,Characteristic of Chinese word-writing and habit of recording the past,it is found out that general's name first appeared as Zhouzhi,then became Cuizhi,eventually changed in to Zhou Cui-zhi.
