浅议以德治警

Remarks on the Management of Police with Political Integrity

以德治警是以德治国重要内容的具体体现,在贯彻江泽民同志依法治国、以德治国战略思想时,公安机关必须强调依法治警和以德治警。以德治警是落实“三个代表”和改进公安队伍建设的需要;是不断开拓公安工作新局面的需要。实施“以德治警”必须做到:深刻理解以德育警、以德强警的内涵;必须建立与社会主义经济发展相适应的思想道德体系;必须与依法治警紧密结合;必须和体制建设相联系。

Administrating the police with political integrity is a reflection of governing the country in the same way. Suchadministration is the need of realizing Jiang Zenmin's theories of the 'Three Representatives' so as to achieve new heights inpublic security work. For this purpose we have to fully understand its connotation and set up a moral system that suits thedevelopment of social market economy.
