摘要
词汇衔接是实现语篇连贯的多种衔接机制之一。本文根据语篇连贯研究的基本理论，分析探讨了词汇手段衔接语篇的功能及其形式特征。复现和搭配是选择词汇概念意义的两种类型，它们起组织和连接词汇语义功能，达到谋句成篇目的。对词汇衔接的研究帮助读者更好地理解词汇语义与连贯的关系，把握语篇的真正交际意图。
Lexical Cohesion is a device of greater importance to cohere an English text,compared with other devices.Reiteration and collocation are two types of lexical cohesion to complete text coherence by the selection of vocabulary.The paper illustrates the effect of lexical reiteration and collocation and interprets the special features of their forms.The study of lexical cohesion within a text is to help understand the communicative function of a text better.
