摘要
王国维本世纪初对中国古代小说进行考证，用新观点新方法研究《红楼梦》，评介西方小说，以促进我国小说的研究和发展，我们应该全面地认识他在我国近代小说研究史上的贡献。
At the beginning of the 20th century, Wang Guowei did textual study on ancient Chinese fiction, commented on A Dream of Red Mansions with new approaches, introduced and made criticism on western fiction to promote the study and development of Chinese fiction, we should view his contribution to the Chinese fiction study as a whole in the pre-modern history.
