The nutritive cycle of a 24-years-old Armand pine (pinas armandi) forest at Huoditang experimental forest station in Qinling Mountains has teen studied and analysed for N, P, K, Ca, and Mg. The results indicated that the total storage capcity of nutrients in the forest amounts to 167.9t/ha.a Annual turnover capacity of nutrients is 84.1kg/ha.a, annual retentio.n is 180.2kg/ha. a, annual absorption capacity is 264.3 kg/ha, a, and the turnover rate is 0.318.
