When the Red Army moved forward from the Civil War to the Anti-Japanese War, Zhang Wentian, at that time the top leader of the CPC, put forward the theory of protracted Anti-Japanese War, led the leader group to finish the transformation, made the Red Army stronger, and therefore made a great contribution to the final victory of the Anti-Japanese War.
