语言的认知研究 ,特别是隐喻的认知研究 ,近十年来在语言学界颇为重视。反语体现着认识主体的一种思维形式———反向思维 ,反语的运用与隐喻的运用一样 ,具有很强的认知性。

In the last decade, great attention has been paid to the study of cognition, especially the study of cognitive quality of metaphor. Irony represents a way of thinking—the reversed thinking, and that the use of irony, just as the use of metaphor, presents a strong cognitive quality.
