In modem western society, non-Marxist philosophical schools can be basically divided into two trends: scientism and humanism. Compared with them, Marxist philosophy is the comprehensive expression of traditional philosophy, the originator of modern western philosophy and a complete, open and scientific system of theory. Therefore, Marxist philosophy occupies a leading position in modern western philosophy, representing the direction of development in modern western philosophy.
