According to the actual conditions of the asphalt pavement project, the classical distress type and characteristics of the asphalt pavement are discussed, the question of the design and construction to affect the road quality are analyzed, and the time characteristics of the asphalt pavement distress are presented having instruction meanings for the design, construction and maintenance of the asphalt pavement.
