编者按:浙江省委书记习近平在本刊"两会"人物专访时说,不重视生态的政府是不清醒的政府,不重视生态的干部是不称职的干部,不重视生态的企业是没有希望的企业,不重视生态的公民不能算是具备现代文明意识的公民.
Zhejiang Province is one of the first pilot Ecological Provinces. And the Kaihua County is the first county to put forward the strategy of “Ecology Oriented”. According to the statistics, the annual electricity consuming of one billion RMB reduced 60.8% in 2003 compar- ing with the consuming in1985; and the coal consuming reduced 61.9% comparing with the con- sume in 1991. The personal in- come is increasing with the 9% variation all the way in the situa- tion of annual wood cut is reducing. The quality of surface water going out of the border has improved from Class 4 in 1995 to better than Class 2 now. Espe- cially worth noting is the fact that the ratio of green GDP has in- creased substantially.
