摘要
文中分析半导体光放大器(SOA)的载流子寿命及增益特性,并用外加连续光缩短载流子恢复时间,从而加快载流子恢复速度,提高 SOA 的工作速率。最后通过波长变换实验加以验证,证明增加连续光的功率,有助于减小码型效应。
In the paper,the carrier lifetime and gain characteristic of SOA are discussed.We use the method of assist oontinual light to reduce carrier recovery time,increase the speed of cartier recovery and pick up the operation rate of SOA.It is demonstrated by the wavelength converter experiment that the increase of the power of assist continual light is helpful to reduce the pattem depen- dence.
