An Initial Discussion on the Drama Feature of the Structure of Hardy's Novel

哈代的小说,在形态上存在着对其他门类艺术的借鉴、兼容乃至潜移倾向。本文以威廉·阿契尔的"戏剧"理论为根据,着重探讨戏剧艺术在哈代小说结构中的运用。本文作者认为,哈代的小说在结构上存在着对戏剧艺术的借鉴,他的小说结构富有戏剧结构特点。哈代在创作小说的过程中,大量使用了戏剧艺术中的"冲突"、"激变"等技巧,以增加小说的可读性和趣味性,使读者由此获得视觉、听觉和感觉的多重效应。

The paper, based on W. Archer's 'drama' theory, focuses on the artistic drama feature of the structure of Hardy's novel and claims that Hardy adopts such artistic feature of drama as 'conflict' and 'crisis' to make his piece more readable and enjoyable to readers, and provides the readers with multi-effects from vision, audio and sensory aspect.
