摘要
采取定量研究的方法,调查了大学新生英语学习中的母语依赖情况。结果显示尽管母语观念与母语策略之间存在着不一致性,但大学生在英语学习过程中的母语依赖现象是不可回避的。同时,语言输出中的母语策略使用量高于语言输入中的使用量,并且写的母语依赖问题最为突出。
The paper reports a quantitative study of the first-year college student's mother-tongue-reliance in China. Results show that although there is an inconsistence between college student's mother-tongue belief and mother-tongue strategy, the mother tongue reliance is unavoidable in English learning in the foreign language teaching and learning context of China. Moreover, students tend to adopt more mother-tongue reliance strategies in language output than in language input, especially in writing.
