本文通过锦园五洲风情的创作,重点阐明在历史名城进行新的建筑创作,应从传统建筑中去寻找历史建筑素朴的文脉与苍古的意境,挖掘和提炼出建筑文化及建筑符号的逻辑元素,在尊重历史而不是模仿历史的同时,赋予它新的气质和涵义。

For taking up a new architectural creation in historic city, adesigner should seek for historic building's simple context and ancientatmosphere, refine the logic elements of architectural symbol and archi-tectural culture, give traditional building a new character and meaningswith the spirit of respecting history instead of imitating history.
