Laissez-faire Is the Nucleus of Establishing Socialist Market Economy System

经济自由,作为一种经济思想和制度规则,是与经济统制相对立的。它是指经济活动处于自然,自动的状态,而不是采取行政管制状态。经济自由与市场经济一样不是资本主义的专利,恰恰相反,社会主义经济制度应该具有更充分的经济自由,更加充满生机和活力。为从根本上突破传统观念和传统计划经济模式,确立完善的社会主义市场经济制度,必须还经济自由以应有的地位。

As an economic thought and its systematic rule, laissez-faire is opposite to economiccontrol. It refers to natural and autonomous status of economic activites rather than underadministrative control. Laissez-faire as well as market economy is not the only privilege ofcapitalism, on the contrary,socialist economy should reveal more adequate economic freedomwith more vividness and vitality. With a view to radically break through the pattern of tradi-tional planned economy and to establish the socialist system of market economy,it is neces-sary to reinstate laissez-faire economy its proper status.
