Envisages on Economic Coordination Sphere between China and Border Countries

世界经济区域化趋势已引起中国大陆经济理论界和经济战略制订者的普遍关注。中共中央也作出了加快改革开放和经济发展的重大战略部署。进入90年代以来,大陆经济区一体化发展的架构已趋明朗:用发展的眼光分析国际经济环境,按照加强经济联系和打通对外通道的崭新思路,从较大范围和各自不同特点出发,对大陆区域和周边国家(地区)的经济协作加以规划,从而形成沿海、沿边,多元性、多层次、全方位的相互联结、相互渗透的开放网络和国民经济的有机系统,以整体协调参与国际竞争,迎接世界经济区域化的挑战。

The tendency of regionalization of world economy aroses the attention of theoretical circles and the strategy policy makers in China mainland. The Central Committee of CPC has made important strategic arrangements to hasten reform and opening to outside world and e- conomic development. Entering the l990s the framework of integrated mainland-economic- zone development becomes clarified:to analyse international envircnment with developmen- tal viewpoint,in accordance with a brand-new thinking of strengthening economic connec- tions and getting through the ways to outside,considering in a larger sphere and different characteristics and having mainland economy arranged and coordinated with border countries and regions,therefore, a national economy correlated and intermingled offshore,on the bor- ders,multiarticles,multi-level and in all directions around takes its shape organically. Thus an open network is being brought about and integrated to participate.in international compe- tition and meets the challege of regionalization of world economy.
