Reading Notes on Yan's Family Admonitions

《颜氏家训》成书于中国语言学发展的关键时期,并且是用接近口语语言写成的,使南北朝时期许多语词得以展现,是当时语言的真实记录,因此具有珍贵的语言史料研究价值。王利器先生的《颜氏家训集解》对《颜氏家训》中的语词进行了解释,其中的一种解释可供《汉语大词典》修订时采择,但也有一些解释不是很恰当。

Yan's Family Admonitions was completed at the crucial developing period of the Chinese linguistics and its diction is close to the Chinese colloquial speech in which many words and expressions of the Northern and Southern Dynasties appear. Therefore, Yan's Family Admonitions is an authentic record of the language of that time, and it is of great value of research on the historical development of the Chinese language. Interpretations of Yan's Family Admonitions, written by Wang Liqi, has explained many words in Yan's Family Admonitions.Some of them will be useful for revision of Hanyu Da Cidian,but some of them are not appropriate.
