在经济全球化与信息化的进程中,教育产业与城市竞争力的关系成为研究的热点问题,二者的内在联系,反映了全球化发展进程的新动向。教育产业与城市发展存在着双向推动的关系。城市信息化的结构特征导致了教育产业的空间聚集,教育产业的快速发展带来了现代城市经济社会的重大变化。目前,教育产业的发展呈现出与城市竞争力共同促进的态势,这一态势主要从城市的供给能力、聚集与吸引能力、创新能力三个方面表现出来。

In the globalization process of both economy and information, the relations between educational industry and urban competitiveness has become a hot issue for study because there exists certain inner connection between them and this issue reflects the new orientation of globalization development. In other words, educational industry and urban competitiveness have a relation of mutual promotion. The structural features of popularization of urban information have resulted in the space concentration of educational industry, while the rapid development of educational industry has also caused serious economic and social changes in modern cities. Nowadays, the development of educational industry has demonstrated the mutual beneficial relations with urban competitiveness in terms of such three aspects as the capacity of supply, the capacity of attraction and the capacity of innovation in urban areas.
