The view on issues that affect the stability and development of Inner Mongolia border area and their countermeasures

改革开放以来 ,内蒙古边境地区社会稳定与经济发展都有了长足的进步。作为公安边防机关 ,要充分发挥其职能作用 ,继续加大工作力度 ,严厉打击各种非法活动。

There are a few major issues that affect the socia l stability and economic development of Inner Mongolia border area nowadays, such as collective appeal to the higher authorities for help, mass demonstrations, bo rder smuggling and illegal deals, more cases of Korean blockade-runners, emergin g trends of illegal religious campaign and so on. In order to solve these issues , we must properly and deeply study and deal with the contradictions among the p eople, fully carry out the functions of the border control authorities, put more efforts on the campaign against running the blockade, and take strong measures against illegal religious campaigns.
