摘要
本文通过评述西方学者借助于现代语言学理论和认知心理学理论开展对外与阅读教学的研究,介绍当代西方在外语阅读研究过程中对语言标准和阅读行为、阅读的心理过程、阅读的认知过程和语篇教学的认识,基本反映了西方学者开展外语阅读研究的基本理论和实践趋向。
By presenting the brief comment on the chief research tendencies on extensive reading in western
countries, the research on extensive reading through linguistic theories, psychological theories has been dis-
cussed and then concludes that these theories are of real significance in our foreign language teaching.
