Process control h as been developed from single unit contr ol to centralized control and distribute d control. Now it is pacing towards netw ork era, thus networking process systems is the developing trend. The paper intr oduced the connection between air compre ssor monitoring system and Honeywell DCS with emulating Modbus protocol by using VC++6 0 programming.
