80年代以来 ,旅游业在东盟国家经济中一直具有重要的地位。虽然 1997年爆发的金融危机、近年来接连发生的美国 9 11恐怖袭击、印尼巴厘岛爆炸恐怖事件、SARS等 ,使其旅游业受到很大影响 ,旅游贸易有所倒退。但东盟国家采取对旅游市场重新定位、开拓新的旅游市场、开发新旅游资源、加强区域间旅游合作等政策和措施 ,使其旅游贸易得以恢复和发展。目前东盟国家旅游业已成为世界旅游业发展的一个“亮点” 。

Since 1980s,tourism industry plays an important role in ASEAN's economy.Although the outbreak of financial crisis in 1997,successive occurrence of terrorist attacks as American 9.11 Bali Bombing and SARS have greatly impacted on the tourism industry and caused retrogression of its tourism trade.But ASEAN countries have adopted many policies and measures to rejuvenate its tourismtrade as follows,new orientation of tourist market,explortation of new tourist market and resources,reinforcement of regional tourism cooperation.At present,ASEAN'S tourism industry has become a beautiful scenery in the development of world's tourism industry,with the future exuberating prosperity.
