摘要
研究了自高凝集价的金黄色葡萄球菌培养物中提取的活性物质BM-828的生物学特性。实验证明本药在小鼠中可增强自然杀伤细胞活性及淋巴细胞转化率,对免疫器官胸腺也有明显增重作用。在狗中本药还可对抗环磷酰胺所致的白细胞减少。抗癌作用的研究证明、本药对S180肉瘤及Lewis肺癌均有明显的抑制生长作用。上述结果表明,BM-828是一个有实用前途的肿瘤辅助治疗药物。
During the course of screening for biologically active compounds in bacterial fer-
mentation products it was found that BM-828, prepared from the culture filtrate of a special
strain of Staphylococcus aureus with very high clustering titer possessed immunopotentiating and
antitumor activities, After i.p.administration of BM-828(32.5U), the natural killer cell activity and
the lymphocyte transformation rate were augmented significantly. BM-828 also possessed the
ability to improve the cyclophosphamide-induced leukopenia in dogs. In tumor-bearing mice
BM-828 could also significantly inhibit the growth rate of S180 sarcoma and Lewis lung
carcinoma.
