Transport environment and policies in a sustainable Japan

交通领域的可持续发展,应以环境、经济、社会的公平性三方面与之适应。在环境方面,随着20世纪汽车化进程加快,汽车对环境的影响问题是面临的最大课题。交通发展战略由需求、供给、体制三方面的政策构成,在新形势下,发达国家和发展中国家正在从过去为适应环境问题而改善汽车自身的环保性能为基础的需求追随型模式向非需求管理组合型模式转变。本文介绍其可持续发展条件下交通战略的内容。

The sustainabledevelopment of transportation should be fit in the environment, economy and social fairness. In terms of environment, the influence of automobile on environment is the most important issues as the motorization is accelerating in the 20th century. The transport developing strategy is consisted of policies of demand, supply and systems. In the new situation, both the developed and the underdeveloped countries are moving away from the improving the environmental friendliness of automobiles to adapt the environment, and walking towards a combined model based on non-demand management. This article introduces the transportation strategy under the sustainable development framework.
