女字书写的是湘桂粤毗连处的土话,其语音、词汇、语法与相邻的湘语、客赣语、粤语和西南官话都有相当大的差别,含有古越语和苗瑶语的底层。

In this paper, the author introduces Wuling Chinese Dialect and some words in Women's Script. The dialect is distributed over the area in Hunan, Guangdong and Guangxi provinces, generally called Pinghua. Substrata features of Kam-Dai and Miao-Yao languages can be found in the dialect and the writings.
