Reflections on Urban Forests Development in Jiangsu Province

发展城市森林是实施城市可持续发展战略的重要措施。城市化进程位居全国前列的江苏省,发展城市森林既可有效改善城市环境、发展经济文化,也可提高绿色江苏建设水平,加快现代林业建设步伐。为此,在综述了城市森林建设的现状尤其是存在问题的基础上,建议要提高认识、科学规划、加强研究、改革机制,以加快江苏城市森林发展。

Urban forest development is an important strategy of sustainable development.After analyzing the current situation and insufficiencies in urban forest development,the paper discusses the necessity and urgency of urban forest development in Jiangsu Province:it can improve urban environment,develop economy and culture,and upgrade forestry development level.Finally,some suggestions are put forward:improving awareness,programming scientifically,enhancing research and creating new mechanism.
